aespa fic: the sci-fi svt fic inspired by aespa news. I was writing a mini-essay but then klavier posted Ah, Love and then I became desperate to make it into a story. Evolved into Seungcheol-centric post-disbandment AU. This is my priority rn.

Jun/Wonwoo/Mingyu/Minghao x Midsummers Night Dream where I choose their most annoying love language, multiply it by 500, and throw it at the person who hates it the most. But OT4 ending!! (currently thinking about Jun > Minghao > Mingyu > Wonwoo > Jun, or Mingyu > Minghao > Wonwoo > Jun > Mingyu). I plan to watch the 2013 Globe Stage so maybe some Oberon/Puck feelings will get in there (I want SoonHan but Titania!Jeonghan…). Tavis x Seren from the Winged Histories x lesbians WonHui. Seren was my favourite POV and even though the prose was stunning throughout the entire book, it was even more so in this chapter because Seren was a poet and every line was beautiful. Ahhh I have half of her section highlighted. I want to intersperse lines from the book with the story, but most of all I love her perspective of being a victim of war combined with the fact her lover was the cause of this war ... angst central. Thinking Tavis!Junhui (Minghao is has the political role of Dasya but the emotional role of Siski) and Seren!Wonwoo, he will always be a writer to me. I love the difference between them, how they are from different worlds but still desperate for each other. "My heart is white with love".

Tangential but been thinking of Alanna x Jonathan from Song of the Lioness — still my favourite fwb situation of all time especially with how he proposes, she rejects him because she’s the more pragmatic one even though they are! passionately in love! They fight and don’t talk (a la Jo x Laurie from Little Women). He ends up marrying politically like a good boy and she goes out and conquers the world. Hahaha it’s more than that but I’ve been thinking of the Dynamics.

SVT x Tenipuri. This was an idea ever since I read The Jeon Zone but recently the ash-reread livetweets and the kpop=tennis movement upped the heat. I know in the meta wonwoo=tezuka but everyone's hyung complex for jeonghans makes me want to do a jeonghan zone…

SVT x Girls Frontline (a sci-fi gacha game). At first I just wanted to draw SVT with old guns and then I started thinking about the plotline. Post-apocalyptic, post-WWIII/2nd Cold War. So many brilliant themes; the blurry line between human and machine, heroes and villains. Research independence vs demands of war.
1. Because androids, also identity/ship of perseus/death of personality angst. When your body is replaceable, your memories define you. The Jeonghan ‘I don’t want to forget you’ scene in Ours for the Moment is inspired by the cutscene of Thompson begging her team to remember this version of her if they survive. Because she knows her body will live on but her memories won’t… and Cx4 Storm wondering if their kind of death amnesia immortality is a curse, if they are the same person after getting rebuilt ;___; And after the Continuum Turbulence event they explain why UMP45 refuses to get rebuilt, because she holds the memories of UMP40 that has been encrypted and can not be backed up. So if she gets fixed, she will forget her sister ever existed..
2. Also has my favourite plot i.e. original team formed in easy days breaks up due to tragedy/irreconcilable differences. DISILLUSIONMENT IN THE MYTH. DULCE ET DECORUM EST.
3. And then you have to fight your old teammates (!!!)

5. I’m sorry there is no plot it’s just me trying to justify the year I sunk into this game. If I ever write the Cram School AU at least one character will be whaling a gacha.

00Q. Saw a picture of the infamous gallery scene from Skyfall. Not sure how big of an itch this is, maybe I’ll just draw it. But I love the british banter and the whole spy x handler + jock x nerd tropes.
