Priorities

[redacted]: explicit fic for svt that was supposed to be pwp to hit a few kinks but then I experimented with structure and now I need 3 more scenes so that the narratological arc is complete. (deadline: tomorrow)

SVT Manifesto: it’s no longer a primer bc it’s at 12k and I haven’t even done the annotated discography yet. I have 4 members to finish, photos to embed and then I can post pt 1. (deadline: next week)

departures: bts namjoon/yoongi fic based off my seoul diary entries + a 2017 interview + grisclair’s airport au. I think about yoongi a lot. I see him as someone who lives for the chase, the struggle, the martyrdom, and now that he achieved his dream. I wonder if he feels a part of him is lost forever. I’ll get a bbb bingo with this one if I hit the squares ‘escape maneuvers that draws the noose of the boyband psyche tighter’ and ‘chasing the high in unhealthy ways’. (deadline: before CNY)

Seokmin Murakami!AU: something that started out as cathartic and funny and derailed into a 1990s itaewon thriller yikes. Still in brainstorming stage but a few late night walks have given me ideas that I’m excited to try. Inspired by Murakami’s short story Kino which made me laugh because it had a jazz bar, a stray cat, and a mysterious woman, which is so Murakami. And then my 2016 dreams of writing a tropey murakami fic reincarnated. Anyway it currently has:
- a jazz bar
- a stray cat
- a mysterious customer that may or may not be a murderer
- lovers that come in threes

Tentative

[redacted] bnha explicit fic that’s 70% done so I might as well push it out

Cram School AU: currently it’s just something fun to think about bc it’s based off my own experiences. Soonyoung/Seokmin that starts off as rivals to lovers because they both like the same maths tutor (Jeonghan). Then they turn into comrades because guess who else likes Jeonghan? 96 line! And then 96z become friends because guess who else likes Jeonghan? 95 line!

Narnia AU: reread this fic and felt feelings. I love fantasy AUs. Maybe I’ll keep it simple but maybe I can turn it into an extended metaphor for the kpop industry.
